This is the first drawing I ever sold commercialy (in a gallery) so I am quite prowd of it.. it took me about 20 mins and is on butchers paper..
Nothing not to like about this drawing - like others have said, you have strong dynamic yet graceful lines. I particularly love the treatment of the dancers in the background, the delicate use of negative washes and the intermingling of the bodies. Excellent!
I love intermingling bodies...but seriously thank you for your critique.. from you site it looks like you are more about fine art than comics which is a nice change around here!! ( not that i have anything aginst comics) but it is at least a 200:1 ratio around here....
Thank you for looking at my gallery and watching it. But, I disagree about characterizing it as 'fine art' - where I think 'fine' is related to quality rather than style. I do tend to be more 'realistic' and perhaps 'abstract,' in style in what I do, but I really wish my works were much finer in quality - so I'm still learning and evolving.
Almost all your works qualify as fine in my book. I love your group scenes, like party, dancers, ..., your nudes, like the last one you posted, really capture the figure, and your portraits are very expressive. You have one or two that I might characterize as characture, but these are also nice.
Personally, I do agree that there is alot of 'comics,' elves, angels, etc on DA, and these are not my cup of tea either.
I apologized for being so long winded, but I really wanted you to know that I admire your fine work.

PS: I think the large mural you are working on is very interesting and look forward to seeing it when completed.
Thanks ill try and post it ....the problem with big murals is photographing them properly.. this work is in a tunnel and i cant stand back far enough to shoot it straight on..! ill figure something out.
We want to know what love means to you!

BRipin and the others said it, as far as critique goes.
I've been wanting to do a similar subject for about a year, maybe your drawing will inspire me to get it off the back burner...
